If you were a cupcake, what flavor would you be?
Based on your unique personality and preferences, we can determine which flavor of cupcake represents who you are. We pair that with your favorite place and the things you love, and then we create a heARTcakes painting that embodies you! The cupcake flavor is determined by matching the answers from a questionnaire with our database of flavors. Finally, we craft a recipe card with 'Baking Instructions' written based on who you are. It reads like someone giving your soul a big ol’ hug!

What’s it like to unbox a heARTcakes painting?
There’s so much love, care and attention to detail in each heARTcakes box. Everything is packaged bakery-style. The box looks like it’s filled with a dozen cupcakes (a removable 10x13 art print). The recipient is encouraged to read their recipe card first, which is where they will find their heARTcakes name, flavor and “baking instructions”. The painting is framed and wrapped in sprinkle covered paper with a bow for the ultimate reveal. There is a keepsake with their heARTcakes name on it and a tube of sprinkles to satisfy their sweet tooth.

My life's story is about believing in the power of being seen. Even from a young age I learned that words of truth and beauty can inspire change in the lives of others. I've experienced both sides of this—being seen and helping others feel seen. Combining this belief with my love for painting and cake, I created heARTcakes, a sweet and creative way to help others feel appreciated and cherished for who they are.

I've developed an extensive flavor database paired with corresponding personality traits. Upon receiving questionnaire responses, I extract keywords to identify flavors that align with your answers. Then I choose flavors that would work well together in a real cupcake.

After you place your order, you will receive my curated questionnaire. The purchaser should complete the questions within 48 hours so the creation process is not delayed.

These sweet paintings are not edible but it would be great fun to bake their cupcake flavor in real life. What fun!

I would love to hear your input in advance. Once you've made your order, you'll receive a questionnaire including a section for "Extras," where you can contribute your ideas. I’ll consider your suggestions when finalizing the flavor. Within the questionnaire, you can let me know if you’d like to know the flavor before the art is painted and the recipe card is printed.

Unfortunately, I cannot make any changes to the heARTcakes paintings but I am happy to edit and resend any printed materials. I must be notified within 30 days of delivery. Please let me know by contacting Krystal at heartcakes@krystalbilberryart.com. If you would like to see the heARTcakes painting before it is shipped, please notify me after submitting your questionnaire, this is the only way I can make changes in advance.
