Beauty can emerge from the broken pieces of our lives. When one of my paintings is incomplete or without direction, instead of painting over it, I repurpose the best parts and create something new. For me, these collage chapels feel like an open sanctuary full of wonder, worship and freedom.

Beauty can emerge from the broken pieces of our lives. When one of my paintings is incomplete or without direction, instead of painting over it, I repurpose the best parts and create something new. For me, these collage chapels feel like an open sanctuary full of wonder, worship and freedom.

Acrylic on canvas adhered to watercolor paper and placed into pressed glass frame. This frame is repurposed and may have a few markings that add to the overall rustic charm. The frame is 8x8 and the inner glass is 6x6.
